THE LIGHTEST WINDOWS XP
by Sadananda
I want to write about Windows XP operating system in the ages of Windows 11. Does it look something funny? May be. But, there is a reason for me.
This is also true that It's quite old, and
Microsoft no longer supports it. It has the security of windows 10 without all
the bells and whistles that can sometimes slow down your computer or make it
crash sometimes. And luckily also for you, there are now many options instead
of Windows XP.
Once upon a time Windows XP was one of the most great
and popular operating systems in the world. This is also fact that Windows XP
is the main pillar of latest versions of Windows operating systems like Windows
11.
But things to remember that Windows XP is the
lightest operating system ever. It is a 32-bit edition of Windows XP designed
for computers with less than 1 gigahertz (GHz) of processing speed and 128
megabytes (MB) of RAM. Even it can run with 64 MB RAM You can save up to 80% of
energy with Windows XP, so your battery will last much longer. Windows XP is
available up to Service Pack 3.
Though I have desktops and laptops running with
Windows 10 and 11, I have still kept my old Pentium 3 desktop running with
Windows XP Service Pack 2. Sometimes still I open my old Pentium 3 desktop and
experiencing that Windows XP loads very fast. I can do all works with it with
all features of Windows 7.
After all I just want to say that Windows XP is the lightest operating system from Microsoft. It is a fully loaded operating system that offers features like a fresh, clean desktop and a brand new look. The best part about Windows XP is that it saves you hard drive space. If you are looking for a lightweight operating system, then Windows XP is your answer! Here are some reasons why it's the best choice to use. You can still install it in your old laptop or desktop with low configurations. This lightweight operating system offers a better experience and you will be able to do your work faster and easier than before because there are few distractions on the screen due to its lighter design. Security problem can be solved if it runs from Virtual Box or from a USB drive. At another time I will tell you how Windows XP can be run from a USB drive.
